Greetings all!
You are cordially invited to compete in the 4th annual Sherman Celtic Festival Highland Games presented by TCAA. We will host Amateur A, B, C, Light Weights, Masters, Women's, and Novice classes. The athletic competitions will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 and Sunday, March 22, 2020 at the Sherman Celtic Festival and Highland Games.
Entry fee is $35. Entries are first come, first served and class sizes will be limited to a maximum of 15 athletes.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS MARCH 1st, 2020.
Game day registrations are accepted at the Athletic Director's (AD) discretion.

Sunday throwing classes begin at 9 AM: B, Lightweight, Masters 50-59 and Novice
All competitors must check in at the judge's table to sign in no later than 8 AM each day. It is at the AD's discretion to allow late shows to compete. All competitors must sign in and complete a waiver before the competition begins. At the AD's discretion, competitors may be moved between classes to fill open slots or to make contest more competitive. All athletes will be provided drinks and snacks. Be sure to bring extra food and electrolytes to get you through the day.

1. All classes MUST wear a kilt and tall socks. Kilts must be traditional length and have no external pockets.
2. All decisions of the Judges and Athletic Director are final. NASGA/RMSA rules will be used for judging.
3. Athletes will be expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude toward the public, officials and other competitors. REMINDER: There are children in the audience, cursing will be kept to a level the audience cannot hear.
4. Scoring for the competition will be as follows: 1 point for first place, 2 points for second place, etc. Athlete with the lowest score wins the event.

The Sherman Celtic Festival has secured two host hotels this year, Holiday Inn and Suites and La Quinta Inn and Suites. Both hotels are offering special rates for festival attendees (including athletes and competitors). For athletes bringing pets, La Quinta offers pet friendly rooms. Please note; when making reservations with La Quinta, you must call the front desk and request booking with the Sherman Celtic Festival group.
